Police and local briefs (Fort Wayne News-Sentinel)

An 11-year-old boy with epilepsy drowned in a private pond in southwest Allen County, the coroner's office ruled Monday afternoon. The body of Sean V. Matera was found Sunday afternoon near Chestnut Hills Golf Club at 11502 Illinois Road.
