Community Notes (Greene County Daily World)

Dailey & Vincent will be appearing at Solsberry Christian Church November 9, at 6:30 p.m. The doors will open at 5:45. The church is located one mile east of Solsberry on the old portion of State Road 43. There is no admission charge, but a free-will offering will be received.

Returning home: Linton-Stockton Class of 1948 to celebrate this weekend (Greene County Daily World)

Sixty years ago a close-knit group graduates received their diplomas from Linton-Stockton High School. The year was 1948. World War II had ended three years earlier and Harry Truman was president.

Community Notes (Greene County Daily World)

The Greene County General Hospital Auxiliary will conduct its annual SCRUBS Sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the hospital located in Linton. Assorted scrubs, scarves, blouses and a variety of things will be offered for sale.
